Southwest, 2004
I've travelled to the Southwest many times, and even lived there for a few years; this is the first trip I've taken to Zion where I had time to do more than just drive through on the main road, though, and it's the first trip I've taken to Mesa Verde as an adult, and it was the first time I had ventured below the canyon rim at Canyonlands, and the first time I've done the guided tour of Hoover Dam, and the first time I've hiked the Fairyland Trail at Bryce, and so forth; so there was a lot of new stuff for me. Nevertheless, those interested in earlier photographs by me of Bryce, Arches, the Grand Canyon, Canyonlands, and other spots around the Southwest should look at my other photo sets on this website.
These are the photos that I feel have artistic merit, and they are uploaded here at fairly high quality; there is also a travelogue of about 230 photos (but smaller and at lower quality) with accompanying commentary.
